Monday's re-plan

We'll arrive at Stanford just prior to 10AM and based on last year's experience with Mary Ruddell, we'll be kept in the holding pen until they are ready to prep her. The prep will start once they know when the OR is really ready. Right now, the prior procedure is scheduled for 4.5 hours to end at 12:30. Given 30 min clean up of the OR, Mary is to start at 1PM. If the prior surgery runs long, we are postponed. If it finishes early, I assume they'll start Mary a bit earlier which is why they want her there three hours early.

Given what we know, if we really have a 13:00 start, then the surgery will end between 19:00 and 21:00. Given 1 to 2 hours in recovery that means she'll move to her room between 20:00 (8PM) and 23:00 (11PM). Long day, really long day.
